30th Reunion Class Gift

In honor of our 30th Reunion, the Class of 1980 has set a goal to raise $100,000 for a naming opportunity in the newly renovated Terrace.  Last year, the Class of 1989 exceeded this - and our class can definitely do the same, if not better!

Important Notes to Remember when Making Your Gift:

  1. You can make a pledge over 3 years.  Our goal of $100,000 will include not only the money that is received by June 30, 2010 – but it will also include money raised (our pledges) for the next three years!
  2. 90% of your gift will go directly to the Terrace Renovations and 10% will go directly to the Mount Annual Fund.  If you make a pledge over the next 2-3 years, the key here to remember is that the Mount will not solicit you during that time you have an outstanding pledge.
  3. Matching gifts count!  It’s like free money.  If you make a gift and your employer matches, you get credit for that amount – and you’ll help our class reach this goal without stretching your pockets further!
  4.  If you purchase a Terrace Brick ($2,000), you can extend the payments over 3 years.  Therefore, you would make a gift for your own personal naming opportunity.  Additionally, that $2,000 would count toward our Class’ $100,000 goal.  And if you already purchased a brick or made a gift to the Terrace Renovations, your gift counts toward this year’s Reunion Goal!

You will be receiving emails and letters from us updating you with important information about Reunion Weekend and our Class Gift Fundraising.  You will also be receiving a phone call during the Mount’s Phonathon.  If you still have any questions about the C’80 Reunion Gift, please email one of us.

Thank you so much for your support – the Class of 1980 has continually proven how supportive and generous we are.
